He was Katrina’s favourite and she would always feed him whenever he wanted.

BLAZE – NOW MARTIN – IS ENJOYING LIFE IN HIS NEW HOME

Their owners continue his story:
3 months old – one week later:

We discovered Martin and Syd sleeping together today! I can’t believe how much progress they have made in such a short space of time.

Martin continues to purr any time he sees Syd and Syd is coming to terms with the tail game (ie he tolerates it). We are no longer separating them – even at night. They don’t really like being apart and meow at the doors so it’s for the best!

One thing that we have used this week which may be worth mentioning is a pheromone diffuser – it made Syd really relax around Martin.

Thanks so much for everything again, we can’t imagine not having the both of them !!

4 months old – one month on:

We had bit of an idea before we collected Martin about how things might change – but neither of us could have imagined how well he’d settle into the house & how much joy he brings us! After a slightly nervous start, with both cats curious but cautious – Martin and Syd are now completely inseparable.

They eat together, sleep together and groom each other- Martin copies everything Syd does which is very cute. Martin has become quite the lap kitten, if anyone is sitting on the sofa they can expect a visit for a nap! Thanks to you and Gaynor for all your help, we could not be happier!

6 months old – three months on:

Martin and Syd are doing very well. They are the best of friends, grooming, playing, sleeping and being naughty together.

1 year old

Martin celebrated his first birthday with a new toy and a salmon treat. As you can see he still loves cuddling his big brother Syd & sleeping on laundry 😁. He is healthy and beautiful, and we’re so happy to have this cuddly boy! Thanks again to you and Gaynor!
