WHAT MAKES PINOT SO SPECIAL:
Pinot is the second girl born of Katrina’s pair of final kittens and she is very gentle.
She looks just like Cosmo in face, body profile, fur colour and has Katrina’s deep fur quality. She is a thinker, a clever kitten who watches, first solves the problem then acts.
She is a mini Cosmo, very gentle and interested in being with people. Pinot loves to shout out to let you know when she thinks she is on her own.
She loves slippers and shoes with laces, is inquisitive and is always nearby.
She loves to chase toys on a fishing pole. However, she tends to stop in the middle and let the toys pass her – clever. Of course, she also loves to the play the ‘tail game’, with mum.
She has beautiful light coloured deep fur and is super fluffy. She is now and will be stunning when fully grown.
She is super clean, always uses the litter tray and has perfect litter etiquette.
Pinot is independent and can easily be convinced into sleeping on your lap.

Her owners continues her story:
PINOT – NOW YOSHIE– IS ENJOYING LIFE IN HER NEW HOME
3 months old – 1st day home
Yoshie, talked in her carrier all the way in the car home.
We put her in her litter tray with the used litter, as advised by Michael and Gaynor. She sat in it for about 40 minutes before coming out and slowly exploring the room.
She played with some of her toys, climbed on the sofa and chased the laser.
She ate some of her Royal Canin and Chicken Applaws, before testing different places to sleep.
Exhausted after the adventure of coming to her new home, she settled on the top of the sofa behind Patrick’s head.

Day 2
Yoshie came upstairs and greeted me first thing, she is so confident on the stairs.
She came running for her breakfast when I tapped her plate, as Michael and Gaynor had said to and ate some of her wet food.
She loves playing in her tunnels, having cuddles or just relaxing next to us. She calls if she can not see us.

Day 3
Yoshie slept on the top of the sofa, again last night.
This morning, she ate some wet and dry food at breakfast, then happily and confidently used her litter tray while I cleaned it.
She started to enjoy her cat tree today and had her day time nap on the middle level.
I left her home alone for about an hour and a half, she was happy when I got home and was interested in the bags.

Day 4
Yoshie, is so settled, happy and confident. She talks when we walk into a room or if she walks in, she will let you know she is there.
She is now taking herself off to sleep at the top of her cat tree during the day and at night.

End of the first week
Yoshie is so relaxed, she eats at her meal times and grazes through the days. She uses both the downstairs and upstairs litter trays, plays with her toys, with us and independently. She loves climbing, jumping and talking, she seems so contented and fits into our family so well.
We’re so happy to have Yoshie and thankful to Michael and Gaynor for all their hard work and support they give which has enabled such a smooth transition for Yoshie and us, as a first time kitten owner family.
4 months old – one month on:
Yoshie is the most adorable, funny, chatty kitten.
In the mornings, if no one is up by 6.30, she will call and not stop till she gets a response. She will make her way into our bedroom, walk all over us, still talking till one of us responds.
She’s such a good eater, enjoying all her meals and drinks water throughout the day. Along with using her litter trays.
She appears to be pretty content and confident while on her own when we’re out during the days. However, she is excited and happy to see whoever arrives home first. This is usually Isabella, Yoshie knows its mealtime, playtime, and sleep time on Isabella’s lap while she does her homework.

On the day of the teachers strike, she didn’t sleep. She watched Isabella do school work (in between them taking breaks to play).
She’s quite happy chilling out on our laps, next to us, on a window sill, the stairs, just about anywhere.
She enjoys playing with all her toys, but not a day goes by when she doesn’t play with her mouse and bell toy she brought with her (memories).
She has become quite curious about the bath, getting in, and will sit on the bath mat, watching the water slowly flow.
She’s happy to have her harness and lead on to go in the garden and has a good sniff out there.
Yoshie is the most amazing kitten thanks to the behaviour learned from Cosmo and Katrina, along with the time and care Michael and Gaynor give, which makes this all possible and so enjoyable.
5 months old – two months on:
Yoshie is looking more and more like Cosmo.
She’s a happy girl and likes nothing more than talking, running around the house playing and having a nap in a lap.

She enjoys watching the wildlife in the garden and has attempted to chase pigeons. Even climbing up the fence when they’ve flown onto the neighbours roof, talking as she makes her way up, and when taken down.

She’s such a joy and we’re truly blessed to have her.
6 months old – three months on:

Yoshie has finally discovered the washing machine and tumble dryer she was initially curious and just stared, climbing up to look in. She has since made her way round the back. We’re back to ensuring the door to the utility is closed.
Yoshie seems to recognise when the last person home is leaving or when we’re all going out together. She will sit on her scratch mat in the hall once we have put our coats on. On returning home, she greets us at the front door with a few loud meows.
Yoshie has been enjoying the warmer weather, attempting to hunt pigeons running and jumping to catch flies. She recently chased a fly from room to room for about 20 minutes, caught it in her two front paws but lost it when she put her paws down to land. So much speed and determination.

Yoshie can quite comfortably sleep anywhere in any position, she also likes ‘making biscuits’.

She continues to bring us so much joy.
