WHAT MAKES HAN SOLO SO SPECIAL:

He is the only kitten in the litter from a single accidental mating. While unplanned, he is very much loved.

Why? because he is a mini Cosmo. We forgot how magical our kitten was when he came home with us. Solo is just as much fun and super sweet too.

He loves slippers and shoes with laces. Solo is inquisitive and is always nearby. 

His favourite toy is the three way tunnel with the popout hole at the centre. He is so loved by both Katrina and Cosmo that they all play together with the tunnel. Of course, he loves to the play the ‘tail game’, with mum.

He has beautiful light coloured deep fur and is super cobby already. He is will be magnificent when fully grown.

As the only kitten, Katrina loves to feed him, so he is huge. Although he eats a little soup wet food, he loves his Royal Canin kibble, so he is very healthy.

Once he leaves home he will start to tuck into his wet food too. 

He is super clean, always uses the litter tray and has perfect litter etiquette.

Solo is independent and loves to sleep on this own, or to tuck underneath you. He can easily be convinced into sleeping on your lap, if you use his blanket.

HAN SOLO – NOW DENNY – IS ENJOYING LIFE IN HIS NEW HOME

His owners continue his story

3 months old – first few hours:

As advised, on arriving home we put him straight into the litter tray with the used litter from his home. He came straight back out of it though but has been running around since he’s come in! He hid behind our sofa for about 30 mins, but he’s exploring more now!

First morning

He didn’t eat before bed but I came down this morning and he had eaten his kitten food and I gave him a little bit of wet food! It looks like he’s used his litter tray too!

David slept downstairs just in case he cried but he didn’t cry at all!

He’s done so well, he’s had playtime this morning and is now asleep on the back of our sofa again! But he’s been so lovely! He seems to be copying David sometimes which is just adorable 😍

3 months old – first week:

He’s made our house feel more homely! He’s had a fun morning playing chase with a fish toy we got him! 🥰 And he’s eaten a lot of food this morning too! He’s currently asleep on our dining chairs as he’s a bit worn out from all the running around! He seems to have settled nicely so far and just wants to sit with someone all the time, which is so cute 😍

4 months old – one month on:

He’s doing great! He likes wet food but only things are liquid-y like Felix soups, Encore chicken in a broth, and Purina gourmet tins! He seems to love just little cut up bits of chicken too! He’s still eating his Royal Canin dry food as well!

But he loves David especially when playing! He’s taking a liking to trying to catch David’s feet all the time 🤣 I’ve never known a kitten with so much energy he runs so so fast! 🤣 he really doesn’t like being picked up so far but we’re working on it slowly! ☺️

Denny is allowed in our back garden but only under supervision. When David gets home, he takes him outside. Sometimes Denny shouts and climbs over David to hurry him up to take him outside!

6 months old – two month on:

We can’t believe little baby Denny is 6 months old! He is much bigger than a baby, weighing almost 3.5kg already and has the biggest kitten paws! He is just a huge softy and loves absolutely everyone ☺️

He’s such a playful but patient kitten, loving nothing more but to play with everyone who visits him and especially his cat dad David!

Denny has such a calm nature about him, particularly in the mornings where he is all sleepy and just wants all the cuddles! You can always find him sitting on the back of our sofa which he’s got from his cat mum Katrina 🐱

Although I must admit Denny has quite the appetite! He’s a very chatty little boy and often uses his voice to get what he wants (obsessed with lick-e-licks)

We recently discovered that he loves to sit in front of a fan to keep cool during all this hot weather, bopping ice cubes and chilling on his cool matt!

He’s bought so much happiness to us and life just wouldn’t be the same without him, we love our little Den Den’s!

1 year old

1 year already and it has flown by with Denny, he has also adopted a new nickname of Denny Pickles! He now weighs around 6kg, he’s one chunky boy!

Denny’s party trick is ‘kisses’ where he ‘boops’ you every time you ask him for ‘kisses’, he is the sweetest little boy with so much character. He’s super energetic but so calm at the same time, he loves nothing more than to play with his cat dad’s slippers as well as napping on his mum’s chair.

We couldn’t imagine a life without Denny and are forever grateful he is ours! He resembles his cat mum Katrina quite a lot but has the calm nature of Cosmo, a perfect blend 💫 he is friendly, fun and most of all loving, we couldn’t be happier with our little Denny 🤍
